What’s the right kind of project?
We are interested in people working at the intersection of nature, landscape, place, and social/environmental change, and those who can make use of the garden, its mission, and its legacy in their process.
We encourage participants to think about ways they might want to share their work with the public as makes sense – through workshops, discussions, lectures, displays, or installations on the property. We are open to ideas.
We are also looking for all sorts of people to help us with projects on the land. Carpenters, gardeners, marketers, fundraisers, contractors, curators, project-managers and nonprofit professionals all could have plenty to do over a week or two stay.
We are also interested in prospective partners to host residents, either through general support or for specific groups.
Two options to stay
-
• The Octagon: $1200 for one week, $2200 for two weeks
• Blue Door: $1000 for one week, $1800 for two weeks
• Red Door: $1500 for one week, $2000 for two weeks*We reserve the right to adjust these rates as we test this model.

Don’t have a specific project to work on or the funds to do a pay to stay residency? Have skills (like carpentry, construction, permaculture, design) or an affinity to weed, prune, and compost? We’d love to have you come stay and help us further our vision. Work/stay residents live onsite and enjoy the bounty of the land in exchange for 25 hours/week of time furthering specific priority projects of ours.
Interested?
Complete the form linked below and to tell us a little about yourself, your project, if you’re interested in paid or work/stay opportunities, and when you’d like to come.
We can offer a discounted rate a few times a year for those that might not be able to come otherwise. Please note if this is of interest on the inquiry form. We promise to get back to you ASAP.
Partners — if you’d like to help subsidize residencies or bring a group here, there is space to share your interest as well.
